The Employment Program of Building Futures Employment Society will provide training and support to persons with intellectual challenges living in the Lower Sackville, Fall River, Bedford, and surrounding areas. Through Job Development, Job Search, Job Readiness, Life Skills, Job Coaching, and Follow-up, job seekers will be independently employed.
FUTURES Employment Counsellors provide participants the tools to become job-ready and obtain employment through the provision of pre-employment services, including assistance with skills development, bus training, understanding workplace expectations, resumes, interviews skills, etc. Participants are further supported in the workplace through job coaching, skills training and long-term follow-up. Employment Counselors work with employers, providing support as needed to ensure successful outcomes for participants in obtaining and maintaining paid employment.
