An important part of our program is providing services that are individualized to meet the needs and wants of the people who attend Futures Club.

Futures Club is a welcoming and inclusive environment designed to meet the individual and more complex needs of each participant, while promoting choice and self-direction. Participants enjoy a variety of activities in the broader community, meeting new people and spending time with their friends. Participants are encouraged to try new things, build relationships, and make their contributions to community.

Futures Club was created in 2000 and has occupied space at the Masonic Lodge in Lower Sackville. The Masons have been, and continue to be, tremendous partners of Futures Club; renovating their space in 2015 after the roof collapsed, to be fully accessible to meet the physical needs of our participants.

All I can tell you, is if it were not for Building Futures and this incredible team of care-givers, we do not know how Matt would fill his days. It is an excellent program with an incredibly well-trained group of people and we will be eternally grateful.
